Prof. Emad Ghabrial

BChD, MChD (Orthod), PhD, H Dent Dipl, PG Dipl Dent (P. Manag.)

Prof. Ghabrial has been in private orthodontic practice since 1998. He serves as an orthodontic consultant for orthognathic surgery, is part of the Cleft Lip and Palate treatment team at Pretoria Academic Hospital, and is an Adjunct Professor and senior specialist in Orthodontics at the University of Pretoria.

His training includes Dentistry at Cairo University, orthodontic specialisation at the University of Pretoria and a PhD from the University of KwaZulu-Natal in cleft lip/palate and craniofacial anomalies.

Dr Peter Sethusa

B (Rad) Diag, BDS, PDD (Orthodontics), M Dent (Orthodontics), PG Dip (Health Education)

Dr Sethusa began his career as a radiographer, then trained as a dentist and later specialised in orthodontics. After qualifying as an orthodontist in 2006, he entered a full-time specialist academic career at Medunsa / University of Limpopo, now Sefako Makgatho Health Sciences University.

He spent 16 years in full-time academia, served in specialist teaching and examination roles, and has published peer-reviewed research.
